Ratio of OMEGA-3 and 6 Fatty Acids
As OMEGA-3 and OMEGA-6 fatty acids function differently in the body, we need a balanced intake of both essential fatty acids.




They are the basis for certain substances (Eicosanoid Group), which regulate various bodily processes, such as blood lipid concentrations, blood clotting and blood pressure.

The ratio of OMEGA-6 to OMEGA 3 fatty acids should ideally be 5:1. Our nutrition often has too little OMEGA-3 fatty acids and an excessive amount of OMEGA-6.

The ratio has shifted with modern nutrition to 15-20:1, and caused a serious deficiency of OMEGA-3. Researchers and nutritionists, therefore, expressly recommend that OMEGA-3 fatty acids be added to foodstuffs, in order to protect oneself against civilizational diseases.

The oil in the Sachia seed  the ratio of fatty acids for OMEGA-3 and OMEGA-6 is 3:1. This means a by far less intake of OMEGA-6  fatty acids and the highest possible intake of
OMEGA-3.
